THE BRIEF
We were briefed to launch Nobu Hotel London Portman Square to UK & US markets, establishing the UK lifestyle destination flagship property by appealing to both the local Marylebone community, and as a destination hotspot for visitors to the city.
HOW WE MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO IGNORE
We maximised an extended pre-opening period with a tenacious media relations campaign that generated over 300 pieces of coverage before doors opened.
Our approach included organising hand delivered gift drops to celebrate opening week across travel, lifestyle and F&B media, and within the first two weeks of opening, we facilitated over 30 media stays with top tier targets and interviews with Nobu Hotels celebrity stakeholders
We also arranged exclusive media and influencer partnerships with Monocle, to communicate the hotel’s design story and focus on craftsmanship, and Clerkenwell Boy, to introduce the new Nobu restaurant.
