THE BRIEF

Our brief was to create a brand world that would blend Jan Luyken Amsterdam’s warmth and comfort of a home with an effortless hotel experience, through crafting of a brand architecture, visual identity, and proactive PR outreach.

HOW WE MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO IGNORE

We started by developing a robust & coherent brand house that spoke to our audience need for a hotel stay that had all of the comforts of home included, without feeling excessive or wasteful.

From our strategic insight, we developed an inviting and welcoming visual identity with nods to the heritage of the Jan Luyken Amsterdam building, Dutch design, while evoking a sense of warmth and effortless ease at every touchpoint. 

Post refurbishment, our PR strategy was designed to seed our brand messages with locals and tourists to Amsterdam, bringing Jan Luyken Amsterdam and its new lease on life to discerning travellers.
