Relaunching the world’s best bar
As the hotels agency of record, Hue & Cry were challenged to lead the communication to close the World’s Best Bar and to relaunch the new concept from leading bartender Ryan Chetiyawardana and his team, Lyaness.
When it comes to choice, Londoners are spoilt – preferring to attend unique and inspiring experiences. As a result we positioned Lyaness as an innovative category breaking evolution of the current World’s Best Bar, cementing their position as leaders and change-makers within the industry.
We used this relaunch to maximise attention for the Sea Containers Hotel (formerly Mondrian London) as it transitioned from a hotel group to independent management. Patronage of the bar has been at strong levels since launch, with demand high, to try the new concept and to stay at the hotel.
